Radish Tartines:

Ingredient:
1 French baguette, halved lengthwise and cut into thirds
6 tablespoons of {French}salted butter, softened - I cannot stress this enough... the French butter makes all the difference.
16 radishes, with some greens remaining, thinly sliced with a mandoline or sharp knife
Sea salt
Freshly ground pepper
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Toast bread slices, cut side down, on a baking pan until lightly crisp, about 8 minutes. Transfer pan to a wire rack and cool for about 1 minute. Spread 1 tablespoon butter onto each slice. Top with a single layer of radishes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Mmmmm! My dad was in a cooking class once and learned to make radish soup! Delicious!
